If you adhere to the law, you have nothing to worry about. Isn't it ironic then why they allow manufactureres to build cars that exceed the speed limit then??

Thats the exact same thing ive been asking myself for ages

why is there a speed limit

yet they make cars go more then double it ?

They do it on purpose cuz they know the majourity of people speed and will end up paying fines

it all comes back to finacial gain

I don't think any government is going to win votes based upon restricting manufacturers ability to build cars that speed! You consider that alot of German manufacturers do limit there cars to 155 mph! Woop woop....

what is the point of limiting a car to 155mph (isnt that above the speed limit)

what makes a different if its 155 or 250

just leave it hahah

Alot of measures they try to introduce in the UK is reactive versus proactive. If public transport worked properly, and was cheap alot more people would use it. If jobs were more readily available, people wouldn't have to commute so far. If the government didn't waste so much money, then perhaps we'd have a better transport system?  The arguements are endless. Bottomline, it's a stupid fix by a nanny state mentality on how to resolve issues.

Breadline Briton, we might mock the French, but they would never put up with the Bureaucracy Brits do :) (Not that I'm French). The more you learn about other countries the more you realise how good, and bad UK is... .. . Trying to turn it into a mini USA, if you've got money your OK..If u don't your screwed....
