Grenade to the face

At the 2010 NAE i was sat in my friends car loading a 18shot grenade not wearing eye protection

The grenade managed to self detonate as i was loading the bb's into it

This almost knocked me out cold

I went to the emergency room at bournemouth hospital and had a scan of my eye to find...

I have an imprint of a bb in my retina

How dumb was i !!

Damn. Should always wear eye protection. Has the imprint managed to disappear?
