Gun Wish List / Re: Pulse Rifle
« on: January 17, 2013, 05:01:15 pm »
Ya Shaun my flatmate has the snow wolf one. That one feels a little like a toy as all plastic, standard parts are pretty good, really accurate out of the box but it was around 400fsp so he had to get it down graded. Counter works for 95 rounds but easy to reset the counter by removing the mag. Mag change and winding the mag is a right pain as you've got to take the cover off and then remove the mag. i would recommended getting the kits you can get where you can convert the mid cap mags from the standard Thompson to having a fixed base.

It's a great little show gun but I wouldn't expect to be taking it out often.

If your thinking of getting that I would also consider looking at the website below. That's where you can get the full outfit which has been tested at 350fsp ( around 100 rounds in the same point and point blank range to penetrate)

http://spatcave.com/spatstore2.htm

Once you've got all that gear let me know as by that point ill have the full smart gunner outfit and gun. Shaun will also have the outfit and m41a1 (pulse rifle). I will def look forward to rocking it up to an Airsoft site in full colonial marine gear

Ya the dragon is nice but I need to get a couple of c02 mags for it, I also have a KJ 1911 c02 I need to get mags for too.

The one thing I love is that I have a gun smith. He's upgraded all of my guns and all of them are monsters. Normally I'll spend £100-150 upgrading every aeg I like, this gives a nice reliable edge to them. My redwolf customer has around £250 upgrades in it, but Shaun my flatmate has a mental mp5. I'll post a picture when I get a chance. He has a meat tenderiser on the front of it and it spits out 30 plus rounds a sec. That thing is a beast in the true sort of sense.

General Chat / Re: challenge

Challenge is an awesome site and its always changing and Improving.

Cons:

Can be muddy with prolonged rain

It can seem a little unbalanced attacking from the Forrest but they are working on that to improve as we speak.

Pro's

2 main distinct playing areas separated by a small river with an island between them.

The landscape changes every season, the island is amazing during the summer with the ferns for camo.

A great little fort with a forward base on the other side of the main battle field. The main battle field consists of a base at each end of a 70 to 80 meter (rough guess) open battle field. Plenty of cover but not too much as to make it easy.

Always changing games so never really the same

And the big one for me: they listen to feedback and work from this. The site is aways improving and just keeps getting better and better

Gun Wish List / Top of my wish list
« on: January 12, 2013, 06:25:13 pm »
these pistols are barry burton special custom builds so if you want one you have to get it built

My favourate

this

and this are also very nice

Also my main wish list gun would have to be the Smart gun out of aliens, this is something i will be working towards in the future

But its nearly a grand for the harness and arm, the same for the gun and nearly as much for the "down the barrel" camera view and screen.

Game ideas / What games do you like?

At challenge they are always listen to feedback and a lot of the games there have come from player ideas.

I thought it would be a good idea to have a central place to discuss game types and modes.

DUDE! :O
awsome pictures

That minigun is the cats nutsack!!!! Give me one!!!!!!!!!

I would just set it up in my room and stare at it all day with an evil grin

nice post

gave you an applause on your rank :D

Thanks for that,

I wasn't joking on the price of that minigun. That is a gas powered military training minigun, I was told that it has been built for the US army to train in the handling and use of that type of minigun. It's insane to go up against which we did at the Spec Ops Badlands weekender. The gun itself is $10,000 new, the bullet belt feeding from the backpack was a couple of grand and the backpack was also a couple of grand. It's been made to look like the one used in The first Predator film. BTW 3000 rounds gone in about 2 mins, the bloke who owns it is working on a feeding system from the backpack as that is only used for the gas.

My current setup changes depending on the site but this is what I ran last Sunday

Standard Dpm clothes

Molly belt with, holster, double m4 mag pouch and dump pouch

My Cyma Romanian Ak and Redwolf Stag Daniel Defense M4. I love the ak as blowback and sounds amazing but the m4 is just so accurate.

And as a second I normally take my WE P226 or my high Cappa 7inch dragon (depends how evil I feel)

I've tried a lot of different glasses now and to be honest it's a bit of a sore point for me. I don't want to take risk with exposing my eye but i find so many types of eye protection to be a disadvantage.

The mesh goggles mess with my pariferal vision so I have issues seeing movement in woodland areas so I find they are only useful at urban sites.

Most of the masks I've found interfer with sighting up this includes the full face mesh mask, gas masks and its the same with the predator style full face masks. Oh on a side note the full face mesh mask are completly useless wherever the sun is involved, get the sun in your face you can't see anything.

I've ended up settling with shooting glasses, I don't like the sealed ones as they always steam up even using the best glass fog protection. But the open ones let air run behind the glass which means they clear really really quickly if they do steam up.

So in short I use jack Pyke shooting glasses as most of them are designed to work with real firearms, granted they won't stop a bullet but they are designed to take more than just a BB. If I play at an urban site the I will normally use mesh goggles.

I hope this helps and I hope some people can come up with ideas as this is doing my headin a little.

Not only do i enjoy standard airsoft but i also do alot of Milsim and filmsim stuff. I really enjoy a good Nam weekend and i also really like the madmax weekend we do each year

This is my latest purchase, Its a A&K M60vn, upgraded cylinder head, deepfire piston with AOE corrected, air nozzle chamfered for compression and a mosfet. This thing is a monster and weights as much as one as well. If this thing weighed the same as my m4 i would use it all of the time.

Now this gun is my pride and joy. Its a Redwolf Stag Daniel Defense M4 Socom (Limited Edition)
This has has everything in it, upgraded motor, burst wizard mosfet, tight bore barrel. Possible the most accurate gun i own

This was when i got to play with a 10k minigun. heavy but alot of fun

My WE P226, no problems with the mags by the way

My Tokyo Marui 6inch Colt Python

My dagonov SVD, I upgraded it to 500fsp and then found it very had to ****, so i sold it

My M4A1 and My G&G M16 ( the m16 is for nam so hasn't had much work done to it)
